Kelly Services' has partnered with a client in Toronto, ON to recruit for a Direct Hire Perm Inside Sales Specialist

 

Looking for someone who takes pride in a job well done. The qualified candidate will have experience in customer service, customer acquisition and retention, daily account administration, problem solving and negotiation, data management and reporting. He or she will be client focused, work well and be able to liaise with trade technicians, and be dedicated to assist our management team. This is a full-time, Monday to Friday position.

 

The successful candidate will work independently and be solely responsible for all communication with new and existing customers, vendors and key team members. In this customer facing role, you will be responsible for all incoming calls from customers and dispatch the calls accordingly. Basic sales duties include responding to new customer inquiries, preparing job proposals and cost estimates, and managing customer accounts. Customer retention, problem solving, dispatching, responsiveness and reporting are key to this role. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, detail-oriented, with exceptional organizational skills and preferably have knowledge of elevator or similar trade industry practices. This candidate must take initiative to be a self-starter, to work independently with little supervision, and to work alongside the administrative and technical service departments in a very fast paced environment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Answer and log incoming calls for service dispatch and service appointment setting.
  • Responsible for meeting monthly sales quotas by proactively seeking contracts, preparing job proposals with cost estimates, managing accounts, and developing and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Help creating SOP and on-going processes.
  • Contact existing or prospective customers to maintain and increase customer base.
  • Review and complete appropriate paperwork after job has been completed.
  • Follow up with customers and suppliers regarding service request details & orders.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations for prospective and existing customers; regular contact with customers to maintain satisfaction and secure contract renewals.
  • Develop, price and propose the specific solution which best addresses each customer's needs; Negotiate prices and job proposals to remain competitive in the market.
  • Explain benefits of specific service, repair or modernization solutions, such as improved performance, safety, and appearance.
  • Assist technical teams and project managers in ensuring that all projects are being completed on time, to job specifications, and to the satisfaction of customers; monitor flow of entire life cycle of the sales process.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of five years experience in account management, preferably business to business; elevator industry experience is an asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, professional sales training or equivalent work experience.
  • Excellent computer skills, must be comfortable performing majority of daily tasks via cloud-based software and Microsoft office suites.
  • Knowledge and practical experience with CRM and ERP Software. (eg. Salesforce/SAP).

  • Salary: $60,000- $65,000 annually
