Account Specialist, Small Business Banking
Work Arrangement: (Hybrid – 4 days in office starting November)
Schedule: Rotational shifts: 8:30am–5:00pm, 10:00am–6:30pm, or 11:30am–8:00pm (Overtime or weekends as needed; 3 days initial virtual training)

Do you have a background in customer service and thrive working in a large organization? We're building a new team and looking for ambitious, service-focused candidates ready to support small business clients and support compliance initiatives in a leading financial environment.

What You'll Do

  • Contact small business customers by phone to update missing or required information
  • Conduct account reviews, documentation checks, and ensure data accuracy according to policy
  • Deliver a legendary customer experience in every interaction, addressing inquiries and following up as needed
  • Navigate multiple screens and software systems during live customer calls
  • Adhere to all compliance procedures and document all actions and conversations
  • Collaborate with colleagues and management to support team success

What You'll Bring
  • 1+ years of relevant work experience or post-secondary education
  • Previous customer service or contact centre experience required
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal); other languages such as Mandarin, Punjabi, Hindi, Cantonese, or French are a strong asset
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working with phone-based customer interactions
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment
  • Experience in banking or a large organization is highly desirable
