Accounting Specialist
Location: Southfield, MI
Salary: $40,000 - $45,000
Schedule: 8:30am – 5:00pm, Monday – Friday

Kelly Services has recently partnered with a local accounting firm, seeking a permanent Accounting Specialist to join their team. In business for over 30 years, our client is a rapidly growing firm specializing in accounting and tax services. The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication, in addition to knowledge and experience in accounting such as reconciliations, paying bills and general accounting duties.
 
Duties:

  • General ledger review
  • Bank statement reconciliation
  • Account reconciliation
  • Accounts payable/receivable
  • Email and postal service communication
  • Paying bills
  • Basic bookkeeping
  • Speak with clients on accounts
 
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, Associates in Accounting or related field preferred
  • 2 years of experience in Client Accounting
  • QuickBooks experience, a plus
  • Strong communication skills
  • Understanding of credits vs debits
  • Work well independently and with a team
