Accounts Payable Clerk (Temp / Temp-to-Hire) – ASAP Start
Pay: $24/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (possible overtime)
Location: 100% On-Site
Duration: Open-ended contract | Some potential for permanent hire but not a gaurantee
Location: Seville Ohio - 100% on site
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Accounting & Finance team immediately. This is a temp or temp-to-hire opportunity for someone who can hit the ground running and is highly proficient in QuickBooks.
The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments while ensuring compliance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This role supports smooth financial operations and works closely with a collaborative accounting team.
Key Responsibilities
- Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner using QuickBooks
- Coordinate monthly cash needs, including funding requests and lender draws
- Download and review daily bank and credit card transactions
- Assign transactions to appropriate accounts and job cost them for accurate reporting
- Perform regular reconciliations and promptly resolve discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records of company assets and supporting documentation
- Track progress payments and maintain vendor compliance records (W-9s, Certificates of Insurance, etc.)
- Support project startup and closeout compliance documentation
- Assist with additional accounting and administrative tasks as needed
- Hands-on QuickBooks experience (required)
- Prior Accounts Payable or accounting support experience
- Ability to work independently as the primary A/P resource
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage confidential financial information
- Reliable, dependable, and able to start immediately
- One dedicated A/P position within a team of 5 in Accounting/Finance
