What You'll Be Doing
In this role, you'll support day-to-day administrative and shipping operations, maintain accurate records, and ensure smooth coordination within the office and seed station.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Maintaining records and filing systems in both electronic and physical formats
- Performing daily site shipping tasks, including time-sensitive materials and deadlines (may involve lifting up to 50 lbs and extended periods of standing during inventories)
- Ensuring confidentiality in handling sensitive information
- Responding to routine and non-routine inquiries from colleagues and management
- Managing seed requests and maintaining the seed library with accurate physical and electronic documentation
- Working independently while staying focused on assigned tasks
- Participate in on-site safety standards and procedures
- Serve as a member of the Joint Health and Safety Committee
Who We're Looking For
You're a proactive and dependable professional who enjoys balancing multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of accuracy. You work well independently and as part of a team and have strong organizational and communication skills.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; post-secondary education preferred
- 2+ years of administrative experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with inventory and safety management systems is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and professional communication skills
- Ability to organize tasks, prioritize effectively, and solve problems independently
