Administrative Assistant I
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Administrative Assistant I to join our team. This position offers a hybrid work schedule, with 4 days in-office and 1 day remote, providing flexibility and work-life balance. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for coordinating departmental meetings, managing travel arrangements, assisting with special projects, and providing general administrative support. Roles and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate departmental meetings and schedules on behalf of VPs and the leadership team.
- Plan and organize events, including off-site large-scale meetings.
- Act as a liaison to internal and external customers, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Create, build, and edit key business presentations to support decision-making processes.
- Assist with special projects and assignments, such as research, data gathering, and dissemination.
- Manage travel arrangements, including creating itineraries and processing expense reports.
- Perform various administrative support tasks, including correspondence, filing, faxing, and sorting mail.
- Manage department budgets, generate purchase orders, process invoices, and handle inventory and supply requests.
- Provide training and general direction on internal systems to department associates.
- Act as a liaison to coordinate data from multiple areas within the company.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an administrative support role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines.
