Job Title: Administrative Warehouse Assistant
Location: Colfax, NC
Position Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $16 – $23 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch break)
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Administrative Warehouse Assistant to support both our office and warehouse operations. This role combines administrative duties with light warehouse responsibilities, including receiving and handling materials. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word, possess strong organizational skills, and have experience operating pallet jacks and forklifts.
Key Responsibilities:-
Document Management: Scan, digitize, and organize physical documents stored in banker boxes; maintain an accurate and accessible digital filing system.

Administrative Support: Prepare and update spreadsheets, reports, and documents using Microsoft Excel and Word.

Receiving & Inventory: Receive, inspect, and document incoming parts and materials in the shop. Safely operate pallet jacks and forklifts to move shipments and supplies as needed.

Physical File Handling: Access and retrieve documents from storage areas, which requires navigating stairs and lifting boxes (up to 30 lbs).

Office Coordination: Assist with data entry, answering phones, scheduling, and other clerical tasks to support daily office operations.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with office and shop personnel to ensure efficient and organized operations.
Education:
-
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Skills & Experience:

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Prior experience operating pallet jacks and forklifts is required.

Basic computer and scanning skills.

Previous administrative or clerical experience preferred; warehouse or receiving experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to navigate stairs multiple times daily.

Lift and carry banker boxes and materials (up to 30 lbs).

Comfortable working in both office and warehouse/shop environments.

This hybrid role involves time split between administrative tasks in an office and hands-on support in a warehouse/shop environment. Candidates must be comfortable performing light physical labor and operating basic material handling equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts.
