Location: Ogdensburg, NY
Employment Type: Full-time | On-site 
Pay Range: $23.00 – $30.00 per hour 
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant I to join our Ogdensburg, NY office. This entry-level clerical role supports customs, logistics, and fulfillment operations. The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail and customer service.

As a Customs/Office Clerk, you'll play an important role in ensuring the smooth flow of cross-border shipments by preparing import documentation, supporting supply chain activities, and assisting with daily office operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, review, and submit import and customs documentation accurately and on time

  • Communicate with customers and carriers to support cross-border shipments and supply chain needs

  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate electronic and paper records

  • Assist with eCommerce fulfillment and 3PL operations as required

  • Support general office administrative tasks including filing, invoicing, and customer correspondence

  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational deadlines and service standards

  1. Data Accuracy & Documentation: Ensure precise and timely preparation of customs paperwork and entry data.

  2. Customer Communication: Liaise with clients to provide updates, resolve issues, and deliver excellent service.

  3. Multitasking & Team Support: Balance multiple administrative tasks across customs, logistics, and fulfillment functions.

The Ideal Candidate:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy

  • Enjoys a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment

  • Willing to support multiple departments as needed

  • Eager to learn about customs, import/export, and logistics

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • Experience or education in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Administration is an asset (not required)

Where This Role Fits in the Organization:

This position is part of the Customs & Logistics Operations team, reporting directly to the Customs Manager. It serves as an essential support role ensuring smooth coordination between clients, carriers, and internal departments for import and logistics activities.
