Administrative Support Specialist 2nd Shift -Lowell AR We are seeking a dedicated and organized Administrative Support Specialist to join our facility. In this role, you will provide comprehensive administrative support, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. If you have a knack for clerical work, financial bookkeeping, and customer service, and are skilled in SAP purchasing and accounts payable, we want you on our team! Roles and Responsibilities:
- Answer phones, greet visitors, and distribute applications courteously.
- Open, sort, and distribute incoming mail.
- Prepare reports, letters, memos, presentations, and special projects as directed.
- Handle outgoing mail, Federal Express packages, and send faxes as needed.
- Record product shipments and receipts.
- File company and associate paperwork.
- Assist with hiring, workers' compensation administration, payroll, and SAP software practices and processes.
- Order office and facility supplies as required.
- Prepare reports of customer activities.
- Process accounts payable; retrieve and review bills, obtain General Manager's approval, and mail appropriate documentation.
- Assist the General Manager with budget preparation and maintain confidentiality of all documents, correspondence, and communications.
- Promote a safe work environment through personal actions and identify safety concerns and cost-saving opportunities.
- Perform SAP processing and record keeping.
- Fulfill Customer Service Representative duties.
- Undertake other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED plus three years of general office experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Proficiency in SAP software, AS/400, and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
- Strong customer service skills.
- Typing speed of at least 30 words per minute.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills with a variety of individuals.
