R&D Medical Device Assembler
1st Shift: 6AM-2:30PM Monday-Friday
Hourly pay based on experience: $33-$35 Hourly

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and solder medical device components under a microscope (magnifications ranging from 4x-40x) with a focus on precision and quality.
• Solder 28–42-gauge wire, perform point-to-point, PCB, and harness assembly with a high degree of accuracy.
• Provide accurate and thorough documentation of all assembly processes, challenges, and adjustments for team and engineering review.
• Collaborate with engineers and team members to troubleshoot assembly issues, suggest process improvements, and contribute feedback on product development.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards while maintaining an organized, efficient workspace.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven advanced soldering and rework experience with delicate components, including 28–42-gauge wire, PCB, point-to-point, and harness assemblies.
• Strong ability to work under a microscope for extended periods with excellent attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication skills, comfortable collaborating with engineers and providing feedback to improve processes and products.
• Proficient in documenting work completed, including notes for team members and engineering review.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform rework as needed to meet high-quality standards in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
• Experience in medical device manufacturing or similar fields is a plus, but not required.
