Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Press Operator/Production Assistant for our Franklin, NH facility. The Extrusion Operator works on the production line in a multi-press environment to ensure daily production targets are met. You will operate an extrusion press at optimal speed while maintaining high-quality standards and handling material movement to and from the saw area. The role includes monitoring and quality checks based on ISO standards.

Full-Time | Direct Hire
Pay Rate: $20/hr, plus shift differentials 
2nd Shift:  3pm-11:00 pm, Monday-Friday
3rd Shift:   11pm-7:00am, Sunday-Thursday

General Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Follow company policies and procedures for safety and workplace standards
  • Operate cranes and forklifts when needed to move raw material and tooling
  • Report maintenance or safety issues to the production leader
  • Manage dies and ensure all tooling is available and maintained throughout the shift
  • Check finish dimensions on extrusions at required intervals
  • Monitor press speeds and temperatures, maintaining quality standards
  • Ensure billets/logs are properly loaded and supplied to the ovens
  • Perform duties across all extrusion presses as needed
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a production environment
  • Ability to read and understand shop orders and prints
  • Reliable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Willing to consider candidates new to manufacturing with a steady work history
