Salary Range: $16.50 - $18.50 per hour
Position Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Assembler I to join our 1st shift team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling and testing various products with precision to ensure customer satisfaction, quality output, and on-time delivery. This role also involves active participation in lean initiatives to enhance productivity and minimize costs. General supervision and guidance will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:- Access and follow online prints to assemble products according to required specifications.
- Interpret technical drawings, prints, engineering orders, test specifications, service bulletins, and quality directives.
- Identify and report any issues related to quality, processes, equipment, or materials.
- Participate in lean initiatives by suggesting process improvements and attending required training.
- Conduct inspections using measuring instruments such as comparators, micrometers, calipers, and pin or wire gauges.
- Utilize magnification equipment to detect and prevent damage to surfaces and critical components.
- Perform visual inspections to identify burrs or damaged machined surfaces.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Must pass pre-employment assessments.
- General manufacturing experience preferred (1+ years ideal).
- Ability to follow procedures and select appropriate tools and equipment based on prints.
- Proficiency in using measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Strong understanding of product assembly and manufacturing processes.
- Basic computer skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to apply and implement lean manufacturing principles.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Capable of setting goals, receiving performance feedback, and engaging in self-development.
- Maintain accurate daily records of work performed.
- Understanding of customer requirements to ensure product quality and satisfaction.
