Join the Kelly® Professional & Industrial team as an Assembler with a global water technology company dedicated to solving water-related challenges through innovative and sustainable solutions—with a focus on smart infrastructure and advanced systems.

Why you should apply to be an Assembler:
  • Pay Rate: $18 per hour

  • Location: Lubbock, TX

  • Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

  • Overtime: May be required, up to 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM based on production needs

What's a typical day as an Assembler? You will:
  • Assemble turbine pumps and components using hand tools, power tools, drills, table saws, and overhead cranes

  • Read and interpret formal orders, bills of materials, and assembly drawings

  • Fabricate wooden crates and skids for shipping

  • Mark crates per order instructions and provide accurate weights and dimensions

  • Paint pumps using standard and special paints

  • Ensure all products meet quality and completeness requirements

  • Follow safety guidelines and participate in 5S and continuous improvement practices

  • Perform other shop-related tasks and support the team as needed

This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:
  • High school diploma or GED

  • At least 1–2 years of shop or assembly experience

  • Ability to read complex drawings and use tools like calipers and measuring scales

  • Basic shop math and mechanical aptitude

  • Experience operating forklifts and cranes (certification preferred)

  • Comfort working in a physical, industrial environment (standing, lifting up to 35 lbs, etc.)

  • Commitment to workplace safety and proper PPE usage
