About the Role 

We're looking for a skilled and motivated Assembly Operator to join our high-performing manufacturing team. In this role, you'll be responsible for safely operating and maintaining large-scale automated assembly machines, performing quality checks, and ensuring our products meet the highest standards of precision and reliability. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Operate and monitor high-speed automated assembly machines safely and efficiently. 

• Perform complex repairs and major adjustments to equipment, including setups and changeovers. 

• Conduct quality checks according to the Quality Inspection Plan (QIP) and document results accurately. 

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting. 

• Make tooling adjustments (e.g., sharpening, checking spring-loaded pins, bend stations, insertion stations). 

• Replace components such as sensors, punches, dies, belts, and air cylinders as needed. 

• Adjust housing feeds and alignments based on production standards. 

• Use precision tools including height indicators, ram optics, gauges, and microscopes for inspections. 

• Identify and reset machine faults, clear jams, and restart production. 

• Remove and properly package finished products for next-stage processing or shipment. 

Qualifications & Skills 

• 1+ year of manufacturing or assembly experience required (high-speed automated machinery experience preferred). 

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability. 

• Ability to interpret technical instructions, production prints, and measurement specifications. 

• Basic understanding of machine maintenance and safe operating procedures. 

• High attention to detail and commitment to product quality. 

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment with varied tasks.
