About the Role
We're looking for a skilled and motivated Assembly Operator to join our high-performing manufacturing team. In this role, you'll be responsible for safely operating and maintaining large-scale automated assembly machines, performing quality checks, and ensuring our products meet the highest standards of precision and reliability.
Key Responsibilities

Operate and monitor high-speed automated assembly machines safely and efficiently.

Perform complex repairs and major adjustments to equipment, including setups and changeovers.

Conduct quality checks according to the Quality Inspection Plan (QIP) and document results accurately.

Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting.

Make tooling adjustments (e.g., sharpening, checking spring-loaded pins, bend stations, insertion stations).

Replace components such as sensors, punches, dies, belts, and air cylinders as needed.

Adjust housing feeds and alignments based on production standards.

Use precision tools including height indicators, ram optics, gauges, and microscopes for inspections.

Identify and reset machine faults, clear jams, and restart production.

Remove and properly package finished products for next-stage processing or shipment.
Qualifications & Skills
-
1+ year of manufacturing or assembly experience required (high-speed automated machinery experience preferred).

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.

Ability to interpret technical instructions, production prints, and measurement specifications.

Basic understanding of machine maintenance and safe operating procedures.

High attention to detail and commitment to product quality.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment with varied tasks.
