Pay Rate: $19.50 – $21.00/hour (based on experience) 
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 4:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (Overtime may be required on Fridays) 
Employment Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire 

About the Role 

We're looking for a skilled and motivated Assembly Operator II to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of high-speed, large-scale automated assembly equipment. You'll perform equipment setups, adjustments, quality checks, and routine maintenance to ensure smooth and accurate production flow. 

This position is ideal for individuals with prior manufacturing experience who take pride in precision, safety, and quality. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Safely operate and monitor automated assembly machines to maintain consistent production quality. 

  • Perform complex equipment repairs, adjustments, and changeovers as needed. 

  • Conduct quality checks according to the Quality Inspection Plan (QIP) and document measurements per specifications. 

  • Carry out daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance and report any equipment concerns promptly. 

  • Use precision measuring tools such as height indicators, gauges, and microscopes to inspect components. 

  • Adjust and replace components such as sensors, punches, dies, air cylinders, and belts as required. 

  • Identify and reset machine faults, clear jams, and restart production efficiently. 

  • Package and prepare finished products for transfer or shipment. 

Qualifications 

  • Minimum 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment. 

  • Hands-on experience operating and maintaining automated or mechanical production equipment. 

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, prints, and work instructions. 

  • Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills. 

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced production setting. 

  • Willingness to learn, follow safety protocols, and adapt to process changes. 

Physical Requirements 

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods during the shift. 

  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally. 

  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with moderate noise and movement.
