Assembly Worker – 1st Shift | $17.00–$18.00/hr. | Rochester, NY
Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire | Weekly Pay


Looking to grow your career with a well-established manufacturing team? We are looking for a 1st Shift Assembly Worker in Rochester, NY! This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who enjoys working with tools, pays close attention to detail, and thrives in a clean, team-oriented environment.

Schedule:

  • Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: 
  • $17.00–$18.00/hr, based on experience (paid weekly)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Wash and clean parts before shipment to customers or outside services
  • Deburr, trim, and polish parts using hand tools such as sandpaper, knives, and steel wool
  • Inspect finished parts for defects or inconsistencies
  • Sandblast, paint, or assemble components as needed
  • Pack and label finished parts for shipping or storage
  • Assist with shipping prep and inventory tracking
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow all safety protocols and SOPs

You're a Great Fit If You Have:
  • Previous experience in assembly, light manufacturing, or machine shop preferred
  • Ability to use hand tools and work with small parts
  • A strong eye for detail and quality
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • A team-player attitude and willingness to assist across departments
  • Good communication and the ability to follow written/verbal instructions
