What's a typical day as an Associate Training & Development? You'll be:
• Working closely with assigned client groups to understand and assess specific training needs.
• Communicating client training needs to local training management.
• Delivering solutions to meet the specific training needs of assigned clients.
• Providing initial and ongoing training for new hires and transfers.
• Facilitating the transition of new hires/transfer-ins from the training environment to the work environment.
• Providing guidance to clients on compliance and regulatory issues.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree and 4 years of directly related experience, or a High school diploma / GED and 6 years of directly related experience.
• Demonstrate understanding of Amgen's business and culture, and the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels.
• Possess good interpersonal, group facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Are able to lift and/or move lab equipment, chairs, tables, room dividers, and/or audio/visual equipment (up to 35 pounds, 4 feet high).
• Have a strong customer service orientation and influencing skills to work directly with client staff and identify performance needs.
• Are fluent in both English and Spanish, with strong technical writing skills in both languages.
• Have a working knowledge of computer software programs including Word, Excel, and Power Point.
• Are comfortable working directly with clients in delivering training.
• Are willing to handle potentially hazardous materials and/or equipment as part of the training.
