Automotive Chat/Support Agent Long Term Contract with benefits!!
Onsite: Smyrna, TN - NO REMOTE

 

Job Description

The Chat/Support Agent provides support to dealership personnel, Technical Support Specialists, WCC/PCC agents, leadership within Nissan and Infiniti TECH LINE, and other NNA departments. You will respond to chat requests, provide follow-up support, create reports, assist with event planning, and perform other duties as assigned. This role is part of a large service center team — teamwork and collaboration are key!

Responsibilities
  • Chat Support:

    • Monitor and respond to chat requests from dealership personnel
    • Provide general support and follow up via chat
    • Collaborate with fellow chat agents and department specialists
  • Technical Research & Resources:

    • Navigate and research resources: Service Manuals, Owner's Manuals, TECH LINE, VCAT, PCC, WCC, DPIC, NESNA cases, ASIST database, APRM FRM, EPC, and publications
    • Initiate Tech Link sessions for remote assistance
  • Report Creation & Analysis:

    • Create PowerPoint & Excel documents for management
    • Build and monitor Salesforce reports and dashboards
    • Analyze data for process improvement opportunities
  • Administrative Support:

    • Monitor inboxes and handle parts collection requests
    • Review duplicate cases and DTS inspection results
    • Manage files, create meeting materials, and schedule for training/events
    • Schedule PEEK program recruitment calls, follow-ups, and document gathering
  • Event Coordination:

    • Coordinate live ZOOM events: manage schedules, breakout rooms, introduce presenters, facilitate feedback sessions, and promote engagement
  • Special Projects & Knowledge Sharing:

    • Create Tech Alerts to inform technicians and managers
    • Collaborate with leadership and departments for improved support
    • Attend meetings, provide updates, and gather feedback for continual improvement
Minimum Qualifications
  • Skills & Abilities:

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Typing speed: 40+ WPM
    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple time-sensitive tasks
    • Comfortable working with various resource materials and applications
  • Experience:

    • 2+ years in a professional environment
    • Previous automotive service/parts or NNA/Infiniti experience preferred
  • Education:

    • High school diploma required; AA degree or equivalent coursework is preferred
  • Computer Skills:

    • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Willingness to learn new software: CONSULT, OpenScape, Simplified SMS, EPC, NNAnet, VCAT, HOST, ASIST, Bomgar
    • Previous Salesforce.com experience is a plus
  • Travel:

    • No travel required
