Automotive Parts Logistics Coordinator
Location: North Dallas
M-F/8am-5pm, in office
Pay: $50-60yr
 
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Automotive Parts Logistics Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of automotive parts, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and supporting our mission to provide high-quality recycled parts to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality and Cost Review: Review allocated parts for quality and cost efficiency, ensuring they meet customer expectations and cost parameters.
  • Logistics Coordination: Coordinate logistics to ensure timely delivery of parts to customers. Monitor the entire fulfillment process and address any issues that may arise.
  • Order Monitoring: Oversee the progress of orders from the recycling yard, ensuring parts are harvested, inspected for quality, and prepared for shipment.
  • Customer Communication: Provide shipment details and tracking information to the call center agent for customer updates. Address any customer issues or returns in coordination with the buyer and call center agent.
  • Process Improvement: Provide feedback to the buyer and call center agent to improve the accuracy of reference guides and the overall order fulfillment process.
  • KPI Tracking: Monitor key performance indicators such as customer satisfaction, order fill rate, order cycle time, order parts and logistics cost, order return ratio, and warranty claim rate.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred but will also consider candidates based on relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in supply chain management, procurement, or a similar role with automotive recycling yard experience being a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency in using automotive recycling industry yard management software and tools such as Pinnacle Professional and EZSuite a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
