What's a typical day as an Avionics/Electrical Technician II? You'll be:
  • Performing installation and functional testing of aircraft electrical and avionics systems

  • Troubleshooting and repairing system discrepancies to ensure timely, quality repairs

  • Repairing or replacing defective components and wiring using approved practices (splicing, soldering, pinning)

  • Conducting operational and functional tests with specialized equipment to evaluate system performance

  • Documenting all work performed accurately and in compliance with inspection requirements

  • Complying with company programs for safety, FOD, tool control, and 5-S workplace organization

  • Supporting engineering changes, modifications, and certification testing when required

This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:
  • A High School Diploma or GED (required)

  • 4 years of experience in an avionics/electrical career field OR 2 years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics plus 2 years of related experience

  • Preferred certifications: A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant license), FCC license, or NCATT certification

  • Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to work in physically demanding environments (climb stairs/ladders, work in confined areas, lift up to 50 lbs)

  • Flexibility to adapt to schedule changes and shifting priorities

  • Bonus: Experience troubleshooting other aircraft systems such as hydraulics, landing gear, flight controls, or environmental controls

  • Shift: 1st shift 4:50am to 3:30pm

  • Pay Rate: $32.18/hr

  • Must be 18+ years old and pass standard screenings
