Kelly Services is hiring an Avionics Installer II to work with Gulfstream, a leading aircraft manufacturer, in Savannah, GA (31408). This opportunity offers hands-on avionics experience in a fast-paced aerospace environment with a consistent first-shift schedule.

Pay: $28.75/hour
Schedule: Full-time, 1st shift | 4:50 AM – 3:30 PM
Contract: 12 months 

Summary of the role:

Under minimal supervision, you will assist with the removal and installation of avionics and electrical components, fabricate wire harnesses, and perform installations, terminations, ring-outs, and functional testing of avionics and electrical systems.

Key responsibilities:
  • Assist with installation, modification, and fabrication of wiring and electrical components following blueprints, worksheets, and engineering drawings

  • Perform terminations, ring-outs, and functional testing of avionics/electrical systems

  • Maintain required logs and records and complete tasks within assigned timeframes

  • Ensure all work meets regulatory requirements and customer specifications

  • Inspect work to ensure defect-free assemblies prior to final inspection

  • Follow all safety, FOD, tool control, and 5-S programs

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

  • Care for shop equipment and tools and support continuous improvement initiatives

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED (required)

  • Two (2) years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics or two (2) years of related work experience

    • OR an avionics certificate from an accredited school plus one (1) year of related experience

  • Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and customer specifications

  • Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Computer skills and general software knowledge required
