Job Posting: Beer Receiver

Rate: $17/hr
Schedule: Monday to Friday, starting at 7 am with 8-10 hour shifts

We're looking for a detail-oriented Beer Receiver who can operate a forklift. You'll be responsible for receiving and unloading materials using power equipment, staging products for verification, preparing outbound shipments, and keeping our Warehouse safe, clean, and secure. You'll follow company policies to ensure a tidy workplace and might also assist with inventory control, preparing items for shipment, and replenishment.

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Preferably six months of experience in a similar role
  • Experience with electric pallet jacks, forklifts, and other power equipment is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely unload shipments using power equipment and move items to the staging area
  • Verify products against purchase orders
  • Scan and relocate products using company technology
  • Move items to pick locations as needed
  • Maintain records for inventory control and stock rotation
  • Help with physical inventories when required
  • Complete daily checklists for power equipment and report any safety issues
  • Operate equipment safely and efficiently
  • Keep the facility neat, clean, and orderly
  • Maintain warehouse security

Working Conditions:

  • Occasionally work in refrigerated areas
  • Handle moderate to loud noise levels with some dust and fumes from equipment

Physical Requirements:

  • Reliable attendance
  • Frequently operate a pallet jack and/or forklift
  • Stand, walk, lift, and carry frequently; use hands and fingers to handle items
  • Perform lifting of 50-65 lbs, including some overhead lifting
  • Specific vision abilities for distance and close-up work
