Position: Virtual/Remote Benefits Customer Service Representative
Location: Must reside within 1 hour of Pittsburgh, PA
Pay Rate:

  • $16.50/hour (English only)/$17.25/hour (Fluent in Spanish) 
Schedule:
  • Weekdays only — no weekends!
  • Must be available to work any 8 hr. shift between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM- shifts drawn at random when assigned*
  • Note:No time-off allowed between August and December

What You'll Do:

As a Benefits Customer Service Representative, you'll provide essential support to benefit plan participants, helping them navigate their health, retirement, and insurance options with confidence and care.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Deliver compassionate service via phone, email, and chat
  • Adapt your communication style to meet the needs of each caller
  • Handle sensitive information in compliance with HIPAA and data privacy regulations
  • Accurately document all interactions and case details
  • Resolve issues professionally, even under pressure
What You'll Need to Succeed:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Reliable high-speed internet and a dedicated, quiet workspace
  • Flexible availability — no time-off allowed between August and December
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; able to manage multiple systems/windows
  • Typing speed of at least 30 WPM
  • Comfortable working remotely and residing within a 2-hour radius of Pittsburgh
