Job Title: Bilingual HR Assistant / Administrative Support
Assignment Type: Temporary – 6 Month Assignment
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour (DOE)
Location: Cerritos, CA (must be able to travel to Commerce as needed)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Bilingual (English/Spanish) HR Assistant / Administrative Support professional to support internal office operations during a 6-month temporary assignment. This role is not employee-facing and will focus on administrative, clerical, and HR support tasks, as well as assisting with process improvement between company sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and clerical support to the HR and office teams
- Perform filing, sorting, scanning, and document organization (physical and electronic)
- Enter and maintain accurate data in HR systems and spreadsheets
- Assist with completing and processing I-9 documentation
- Support scheduling and setup of meetings (calendars, rooms, materials)
- Assist with office setup tasks, including connecting TVs and office equipment to Wi-Fi
- Help streamline and improve administrative and HR processes between sites
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive HR and company information
- Provide general office support as needed
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (fluent reading, writing, and speaking)
- Prior HR administrative or HR assistant experience
- Strong understanding of confidentiality and handling sensitive information
- Experience with clerical tasks, filing systems, and data entry
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel between Commerce and Cerritos locations
- Experience supporting HR operations in a corporate or multi-site environment
- Familiarity with onboarding documentation and compliance processes
- Office-based role
- Internal support position (no direct employee relations responsibilities)
