Kelly® Science & Clinical is seeking a Quality Control (QC) Manager for a direct-hire (permanent) position with one of our partners in the Lincoln, NE area. Starting Salary: $100,000-$130,000/year + bonus eligible
Job Type: direct-hire (permanent), full-time, exempt
Location: Lincoln, NE (100% on-site)
**Relocation assistance is available for out-of-town applicants.
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Job Overview: The QC Manager will oversee the coordination and execution of in-process and final product testing for vaccines. This includes managing product stability, method transfer, and reagent qualification studies, while ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations. The role involves frequent collaboration with multiple departments.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, Immunology, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
- Experience:
- 8-10 years of technical experience in the pharmaceutical, USDA, or related industries with a Bachelor's degree.
- OR, 4-7 years of technical experience with a Master's degree preferred.
- Experience in USDA- or FDA-regulated environments and understanding vaccine licensing preferred.
- Previous experience with GMP manufacturing of biologics is required.
- Previous experience with veterinary pharmaceuticals/ animal health products is required.

Skills:
- Proficient in veterinary biologics regulations (e.g., 9CFR, Outlines of Production, VS Memos).
- Expertise in aseptic technique, mammalian cell culture, and molecular biology (e.g., PCR, Western blots).
- 5-7 years of supervisory experience preferred.

Leadership & Management:
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage teams and collaborate across departments.
- Proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans to improve departmental efficiency.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.

Problem-Solving & Compliance: Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and knowledge of safety and compliance standards.

Organization: Exceptional time management, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Relationship Building: Able to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
