? Location: 3003 N Central Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85012
? Pay Rate: $29.70/hour
? Shift Options:
- Thursday to Monday: 12:30 PM–9:00 PM, 12:45 PM–9:15 PM, 1:00 PM–9:30 PM
- Tuesday to Saturday: 1:00 PM–9:30 PM
? Employment Type: 3-month contract
? Work Setup: Onsite, call center
- Screen calls and written concerns of alleged child abuse and neglect.
- Conduct comprehensive phone interviews and gather/research critical information.
- Determine if concerns meet criteria for investigation; write clear, qualitative narratives.
- Enter detailed information accurately into DCS systems.
- Respond to the public with professionalism, empathy, and non-judgment.
- Complete and finalize all tasks within scheduled shifts, breaks, and lunch times.
- Manage cross-reporting to law enforcement and appropriate agencies where required.
- Handle confidential and time-sensitive information in a high-stress, busy environment.
- Participate in additional hours as needed, including weekends and holidays.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited college or university.
- At least one year of social service or behavioral health experience.
- Knowledge of child protection laws, child development, and community resources.
- Experience in crisis call centers, social work, counseling, or related fields.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams) and call center applications.
- Excellent active listening, communication, and time-sensitive decision-making skills.
- Ability to type at least 45 words per minute, perform critical thinking, and remain professional under stress.
- Strong narrative-writing and documentation skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work onsite in a busy, emotionally demanding call center environment.
- Comfortable handling sensitive cases with empathy and objectivity.
