Location: Auburn Hills
Schedule: 9:00am-5:00pm (some hybrid)
Pay Rate: $26.00 per hour
Length: June 2026

About the Role:
The full-time Career Continuum Coordinator will be the bridge between middle and high school students and the world of career opportunities. You will play a key role in creating awareness, exploration, preparation, training, and employment pathways for students.
Your role will involve:

  • Building and nurturing relationships with employers to create career connections for students.
  • Leading and managing Continuum partner meetings for training programs.
  • Networking with industry partners, schools, and students.
  • Facilitating career exploration activities, workshops, and industry tours.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage students with individual and group career exploration sessions.
  • Connect students to work-based learning opportunities.
  • Develop and implement engaging career exploration activities.
  • Provide valuable information on career options, job roles, and market trends.
  • Enhance students' employability skills with resume writing, interview skills, and networking.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Human Resources, or related field.
  • Three years of experience in student placement, career services, advising or workforce development
  • Must have student connections and workforce engagement experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Multitasking, scheduling, time management skills, and active listening.
  • Strong computer skills including designing spreadsheets and maintaining databases.
  • Experience with manufacturing/skilled trades/aerospace and or defense industry
  • Salesforce or CRM.
