Kelly, in partnership with a fantastic non-profit organization, is looking for a skilled CMM Programmer in Auburn, WA.
Our client offers a fantastic benefit, vacation and compensation package upon hire. This role could be temp to hire or direct hire based on candidates needs.

- Hours: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday
- Pay: $34.43 - $46.58 per hour plus a 7% shift differential
- Location: Auburn, WA
- Develop CMM programs from CATIA models using PC-DMIS software.
- Inspect and verify first production parts for compliance with specifications, drawings, and customer workmanship standards.
- Create procedures and work instructions that align with regulatory and customer requirements.
- Perform First Article Inspections on initial production runs according to specified requirements.
- Conduct CMM inspections utilizing customer-provided models and drawings.
- Develop and deliver training materials and methodologies for shop personnel on CMM usage and functions.
- Review and approve Orion-generated drawings and mylars by referencing customer-supplied digital data.
- Maintain quality standards throughout all production phases.
- Verify product specifications upon arrival to ensure suitability for production.
- Validate all process specifications related to the product.
- Complete required reports and forms to comply with Orion's Quality System.
- Work directly with customer representatives to evaluate and address nonconforming products as needed.
- Collaborate with Orion staff and customer representatives to resolve quality issues.
- Plan and coordinate operational changes in response to nonconformances and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure adherence to established procedures, work instructions, and the Quality Management System.
- Carry out various inspection activities, including in-process, final, and other dimensional inspections as required.
- Minimum 3 years CMM Programming and Operating experience required.
- Knowledge of Geometric and Dimensional Tolerancing.
- Knowledge of Catia and CAD desired.
- Aerospace experience required.
- PCDMIS experience required.
- Experience with ISO 9000/AS 9100, FAA regulations, part inspections and conformities, the proper use of inspection equipment, corrective/preventative actions, root cause analysis, internal auditing, and vendor quality surveillance preferred.
