Job Title: CMM Programmer Level II

Summary/Objective:
Join our team as a full-time CMM Programmer Level II and take ownership of developing, editing, and verifying inspection programs for new and revised aerospace components. You'll play a critical role in ensuring hardware meets all quality and engineering specifications throughout the manufacturing process. Reporting to the Quality Control Manager, you will contribute to our commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop semi-complex CMM inspection programs using PC-DMIS software for new and revised parts.
- Fully understand and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) in your work.
- Interpret multiple specifications (such as MIL, SAE) and blueprints to clearly define inspection criteria.
- Review customer drawings, operational sketches, and in-process inspection documentation to identify necessary features.
- Work independently to complete programming tasks within scheduled timelines.
- Review and update existing programs to ensure ongoing compliance with hardware requirements.
- Assist in identifying and separating nonconforming products.
- Proactively spot and recommend process improvements and correct potential FOD-related issues.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Skilled in the use of PC-DMIS & CMM Manager software, Manual and DCC CMMs, Optical Comparators, Vision Systems, and a variety of precision measurement tools.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational, time management, and follow-up abilities.
- Capable of working from engineering drawings/specs, change notices, or operating procedures.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Minimum of 3+ years' experience as a CMM Programmer in an aerospace manufacturing environment (AS9100 or ISO9001 Quality Systems preferred).
- Strong skills in PC-DMIS
- GD&T Certification required.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to talk, hear, stand, walk, handle objects, reach, and occasionally lift items up to 20 pounds.
- Full-time position, Monday through Thursday, 6:00am to 4:30pm.
