Kelly is looking for a CNC Machinist to work at a premier client in East Syracuse, NY. Let us help you grow at work and discover the next step in your career!

Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: Pay starts at $22/hr DOE
Shift: 1st (7am-3:30pm)
Fulltime Monday-Friday

RESPONSIBILITES:

• Creating medium to high complexity CNC programs using three+ axis CAM software
• Storing and maintaining programs with Living History
• Providing CAM support, downloading programs to CNC controls, making initial set up, obtaining first piece approval, and turning over production of part to operator.
• Diagnosing, analyzing, and troubleshooting programs.
• Creating wire or surface geometry using CAD software.
• Reviewing 3D CAD design blueprints
• Making calculations for programming including where materials should be cut
• Translating instructions into a computer automated manufacturing (CAM) program

Required Skills:

• Must have good math experience (algebra, trigonometry, and physics)
• Superior computer programming skills
• Excellent time management
• Must be mechanically inclined
• Must be able to work effectively without supervision
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
• Must have steel toes
