CNC Machinist/Operator – 2nd Shift (Full-Time, Permanent)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Pay: $26–$28 per hour
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time with Full Benefits

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our 2nd shift team. In this role, you will operate and maintain assigned machining equipment to support manufacturing needs. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, machine changeovers, and ensuring all work meets quality standards.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Perform machining by interpreting work orders, blueprints, materials, specifications, and GD&T.

  • Verify machine settings by measuring positions, first-run parts, and sample workpieces.

  • Maintain specifications by monitoring and troubleshooting processes, adjusting controls, and replacing or sharpening tools as needed.

  • Ensure safe operations by following established safety procedures and regulations.

  • Document and communicate shift activity, irregularities, and ongoing needs.

  • Support organizational goals by adapting to new challenges and adding value through continuous improvement.

  • Foster a strong safety culture by reporting all incidents and near misses.

Qualifications
  • Associate's degree (A.A.) preferred.

  • Proficiency with CNC controls and manual milling equipment.

  • Strong knowledge of machine operations, safety, and maintenance.

  • 1–3 years of related work experience preferred.

  • Ability to use precision measuring equipment.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and team-oriented mindset.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
