Location: Lebanon, OH
Job Type: Direct Hire
Pay Rate: $30-35 per hour 

Schedule: 1st Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday thru Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use computer software to model cutting paths and program machines accordingly.
  • Perform quality assurance tests to ensure products meet design specifications.
  • Adjust machine cutting paths or settings to optimize production while maintaining quality.
  • Analyze drawings, sketches, and design data to determine dimensions and configurations of cuts, selection of cutting tools, and machine speeds/feeds.
  • Determine reference points and direction of machine cutting paths.
  • Compute angular and linear dimensions, radii, and curvatures, outlining the sequence of operations required to machine parts.
  • Prepare geometric layouts using computer-assisted drafting software to show the location of reference points and cutting paths.
  • Write instruction sheets and cutter lists to guide setup and operation of machines.
  • Write programs of machine instructions to regulate movement of machines along cutting paths.
  • Observe machine operations to enhance programmed instructions.
  • Develop programs to control machining or processing of parts by automatic machine tools, equipment, or systems.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • 2 to 4 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Skilled at troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or logistical problems.
  • Ability to work independently while closely following directions.
  • Good analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience in Mastercam is preferred.
