What's a Typical Day Like:

• Perform inspections on commercial and residential buildings under construction or repair to ensure compliance with building codes and ordinances.
• Make recommendations to contractors, engineers, and architects regarding necessary changes in plans.
• Maintain accurate and current inspection records.
• Prepare reports and ensure project requirements are met and compliant.
• Drive to and inspect various job sites throughout the State of Florida.
• Oversee maintenance of company vehicle and adhere to driving laws.
• Attend department meetings and support business needs with flexible schedules.

Outstanding Fit If You:

• Have a valid Florida Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
• Can pass background check screening per Florida's Jessica Lunsford Act.
• Possess ability to perform physical tasks like driving, standing, walking, climbing, and lifting up to 75 lbs.
• Thrive in outdoor environments, handling adverse weather conditions.
• Are comfortable working varying shift schedules, including overnight and weekends if necessary.
