Construction Manager – Field Projects
Location: Dallas, TX (75044)
Pay Rate: $48 - $52/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7am – 4pm Position Overview:
Kelly is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead and oversee construction projects in the Dallas area. In this field-based role, you will manage projects of varying size and complexity, working closely with stakeholders to ensure successful, timely, and within-budget project completion. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead multiple construction projects from inception to close, ensuring alignment with objectives and quality standards.
  • Facilitate project planning sessions with stakeholders to define scope, milestones, and goals.
  • Design project plans, develop timelines, and track progress against performance targets.
  • Oversee project budget, monitor expenses, and analyze financial data.
  • Identify issues and risks, collaborating across teams to develop effective solutions.
  • Maintain accurate project records and databases; document and share lessons learned.
  • Communicate project status regularly to sponsors, teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Assign and manage project resources; coach and guide team members, providing clear feedback for development.
  • Leverage tools such as Excel and Smartsheets for planning and reporting.
  • Coordinate and lead meetings, track invoices, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of construction project management experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise managing field-based construction projects.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered.
  • Proficiency with Excel and Smartsheets or comparable project management software.
  • Exceptional communication skills; able to coordinate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
