Contract Project Manager - Decommissioning
Location: Greenfield, MA
Contract - 6 months
Rate - 40hr +/- Depending on experience
Must work without sponsorship
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the decommissioning of the Greenfield MA. This role involves collaboration across various departments and ensures all safety, regulatory, and environmental compliance measures are met during the decommissioning process.
Essential Duties:
- Collaborate with Corporate EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) to develop weekly activity plans.
- Review, complete, and approve daily safety plans and permits.
- Observe work crews to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies.
- Coordinate with the onsite plant manager to plan and prioritize daily tasks.
- Implement proactive risk mitigation measures for contractors and personnel.
- Ensure physical site security is consistently maintained.
- Oversee waste pickups, testing, and disposal, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Manage waste disposal activities in coordination with internal Waste Technicians and third-party vendors.
Requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other office tools.
- Knowledge of OSHA standards
- Familiarity with federal and state hazardous and non-hazardous waste management regulations.
- Strong communication skills to convey safety requirements and expectations to a diverse workforce.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring climbing ladders and stairs as necessary.
