Description

Job Title: Conveyable Picker

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5:00 PM start (8-10 hour shifts)

Pay: $17 per hour

Job Summary:
The Conveyor Picker is tasked with accurately picking products and preparing them for shipment based on order labels, while ensuring a clean and safe work environment. Duties include meeting daily productivity goals and handling materials as per company policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Label boxes accurately as per orders.
  • Quickly identify product descriptions and item numbers.
  • Communicate inventory needs to the replenishment driver.
  • Operate the conveyor line safely and shut it down if necessary.
  • Maintain inventory control, stock rotation, and security.
  • Assist with physical inventories.
  • Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Report equipment issues in writing.
  • Keep the facility neat and safe.
  • Support other zones as needed.
  • Maintain warehouse security.

Qualifications:

  • Age 18+
  • Previous manual picking experience required.
  • Preferred six months experience in a similar role.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills.

Critical Skills:

  • Ability to use technology and understand products.
  • Experience with handheld devices, inventory, and quality control.

Working Conditions:

  • Work in non-temperature controlled spaces, occasionally refrigerated. Exposure to loud noise, dust, and fumes.

Physical Requirements:

  • Reliable attendance.
  • Ability to use pallet jack/forklift if needed.
  • Stand, walk, reach, lift (50-65 lbs) regularly.
  • Specific vision abilities required.
