What's a typical day as a Food Technologist, Cooking Science? You'll be:
- Translating consumer needs into project specifications.
- Developing new cooking features and service functionalities.
- Supporting internal and external events, such as cooking demos or consumer events.
- Collaborating in the creation of test plans and executing testing.
- Providing test reports, documentation, and presentations of results to relevant stakeholders.
- Ensuring alignment on test methodologies with other laboratories and relevant test institutes.
- Innovating cooking trends for home consumer cooking appliances and proposing patentable ideas.
- Creating recipes to showcase product features and collaborating with business partners.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Hold a Bachelor in Food Science preferred; Technology, Engineering, or Culinary accepted.
- Have experience in preparation and cooking of food, food testing, and evaluation.
- Are proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Have chef or restaurant experience as a plus.
- Are fluent in English; other languages are a benefit.
