- Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday | 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Position Summary
The Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout company facilities in accordance with established company standards, OSHA regulations, and sanitation requirements. This role supports warehouse and terminal operations through routine cleaning, supply restocking, and general manual labor as needed.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Clean terminal, warehouse, and dock areas using hand brooms, push brooms, power scrubbers, sweepers, and vacuum cleaners.
- Empty and clean trash receptacles daily throughout offices, restrooms, break rooms, and warehouse areas.
- Stock restrooms and break areas with required supplies.
- Sweep and scrub dock areas to maintain cleanliness and safety.
- Load and unload empty pallets into trailers as needed.
- Maintain company grounds, walkways, and parking areas free of litter, debris, ice, and snow.
- Monitor pest control systems to ensure effective sanitation and housekeeping.
- Assist with general warehouse duties, including picking up, sorting cases, wrapping pallets, and supporting manual labor tasks as required.
- Relocate, move, or adjust office furniture when necessary.
- Prepare accurate labor, equipment, and maintenance reports as required.
- Maintain logs documenting equipment repairs and maintenance history.
- Report safety hazards, sanitation issues, or equipment concerns promptly to the shift supervisor.
- Comply with OSHA, MSDS, and all company safety and sanitation policies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Prior sanitation or custodial experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment preferred.
- Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to cleanliness, safety, and detail.
- Willingness to complete required site evaluation and pass sanitation standards prior to start.
- On-site training provided for equipment operation, including scrubbers.
