Position Summary:
This company is hiring a Customer Service-International Accounts Specialist to manage order processing and customer delivery tracking for our international business units, primarily within Asia, the Middle East, and South America. This role is crucial in ensuring continuous supply and achieving On-Time delivery (ETD Port Date) from our factory network in Thailand. The successful candidate will process requisitions, place purchase orders, expedite shipments, maintain updated purchase order information, and resolve import shipping document issues. A key responsibility is to act as a productive influencer with peers and suppliers while providing quick and sound resolutions to any issues that arise.
Responsibilities:

  • Process international customer orders, generate commercial invoicing documents, and ensure accurate pricing and discounts.
  • Generate factory production orders related to international customers and coordinate with the internal Replenishment team to meet delivery deadlines.
  • Collaborate with International Sales teams on import and customs documentation requirements specific to each country.
  • Work with Logistics Operations & Suppliers to arrange ocean freight transportation and monitor order completions against port delivery deadlines.
  • Resolve customer issues, propose process improvements to mitigate manual intervention in order processing.
  • Ensure the smooth setup of new customer accounts and new product offerings in the order processing system.
  • Lead cross-functional team meetings on order status and progress, and assist in developing customer order workflow processes.
  • Manage order changes, voids, and other client requests, flagging orders for special billing attention if needed.
  • Maintain consistent communication with internal and external customers about order processing and shipment tracking.
  • Regularly update the Open International Order Status report and proactively resolve any issues to avoid delivery delays.
  • Ensure accurate representation of shipping and delivery dates to provide clear visibility of expected revenue.
Qualifications Needed:
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Customer Service, Order Management, or a related field, with international export/import experience preferred.
  • Fluency in Spanish.
  • Proficiency in dealing with varied international client requirements promptly.
  • A college degree in a business-related field preferred, along with knowledge of purchasing, logistics, and transportation.
  • Strong prioritization and organizational skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of maintaining professional relationships with colleagues and international clients.
  • Passion for creating positive customer experiences while balancing business needs.
  • Strong analytical skills, problem resolution capabilities, and statistical knowledge.
  • Professional acumen to directly engage with international customers.
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal direction and to accommodate non-office hours to communicate with international team members.
