Description

Join our team as a Customer Service Representative and provide exceptional customer service in sales, promotions, installations, and communications. You will play a key role in maintaining good customer relations, resolving claims and complaints, and proactively informing and educating customers. You will work within defined procedures and guidelines to ensure efficient decision-making. If you have a basic understanding of work routines and procedures, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

- Job Type: Full-time
- Location: Portage, MI
- Pay Rate: $20.00/hr
- Schedule: Monday – Friday 10:30 am – 7:00 pm (training will take place M-F 8:00 am - 4:30 pm)

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming requests through various channels, including inbound phone and email
- Perform order entry, address order status inquiries, and troubleshoot product-related issues
- Follow standardized processes to ensure 100% quality for all orders
- Maintain accurate record-keeping in accordance with Stryker specifications
- Understand, interpret, and explain detailed information of printed material and processes
- Prioritize and identify activities and tasks, adjusting priorities when necessary
- Maintain a continual positive attitude, build relationships, and foster teamwork
- Participate in continuous improvement activities/projects
- Assist in any additional team/organizational projects as required
- Demonstrate flexibility in responding to new and rapidly changing situations and environments
- Understand how decisions impact customers and markets
- Contribute to the creation and continuous improvement of standardized work

Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 0-2 years of relevant experience required
- Prior understanding of customer service and order entry preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Proficient in computer systems and software applications
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
