Kelly's customer located in Oakville, ON, is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join their dynamic team. In this hybrid position, you will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction by managing order processing, resolving issues, and partnering with supply chain and sales teams to meet service expectations. You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment that values efficiency, quality, and a digital-first mindset.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with supply chain and internal departments to fulfill customer requirements efficiently
- Enter customer orders with accuracy and attention to detail
- Manage inbound calls and phone queues professionally and promptly
- Proactively managing existing orders and communicating updates to customers
- Resolve order discrepancies, reduce returns, and prevent invoicing issues
- Prioritize and manage a high volume of requests from both customers and the sales team
- Engage directly with customers to clarify order details, resolve concerns, and ensure timely delivery
- Own and manage critical or urgent customer cases with a sense of urgency
- Ensure ongoing communication and updates to customers regarding order status
- Participate in continuous improvement and quality framework initiatives
Requirements:
- Diploma or certificate in Business, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 0–2 years of experience in customer service, order fulfillment, procurement, or a related field
- Strong digital literacy and experience working with CRM/ERP systems (Salesforce, SAP preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks across different communication channels
- A team player who is comfortable working cross-functionally with sales, supply chain, and leadership
- Awareness of ISO quality management systems and document management practices is a plus
- Experience with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Calendar)
- Basic presentation and commercial reconciliation skills
- Professional written, verbal, and meeting etiquette
