Customer Support Representative I (Onsite – Alpharetta, GA)
Pay: $27/hour
Start Date: January 6
Assignment: Long-term Temporary (potential extension)
Schedule: Onsite, Monday–Friday

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Customer Support Representative I to join the North American Customer Service Hub within our Supply Chain organization. This onsite role involves extensive customer interaction, problem resolution, and order processing for a defined portfolio of customers. You will act as the primary liaison across internal teams—including Commercial, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Logistics—to ensure accurate order execution and exceptional service.

To be considered, candidates must have professional experience with SAP and Salesforce, and it must be clearly listed on their resume.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end customer order processing, including data verification, order entry, monitoring, invoicing, and post-invoice follow-up.

  • Maintain strong knowledge of products, customer profiles, and the full Order-to-Cash process.

  • Ensure all customer orders and returns comply with applicable rules, regulations, and internal standards.

  • Maintain and update customer master data in SAP.

  • Coordinate internally (credit, planning, logistics, production, quality, etc.) to ensure on-time deliveries and issue resolution.

  • Serve as the primary customer contact for order status, documentation, and general inquiries.

  • Initiate and support complaint resolution processes; gather customer information and coordinate follow-up.

  • Provide information and support to Account Managers and Product Managers as needed.

  • Assist with inventory management tasks (including consignment or vendor-managed inventory processes).

  • Provide backup support to other CSRs to maintain business continuity.

  • Strengthen customer relationships and contribute to an overall positive customer experience.

Required Qualifications
  • SAP experience (must be listed on resume).

  • Salesforce experience (must be listed on resume).

  • 3+ years of customer service experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; professional and diplomatic.

  • Ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Google Workspace and other digital tools.

  • Familiarity with credit and accounting concepts.

  • Comfortable working in a global business environment with diverse teams.

  • Collaborative team mindset; willing to assist with tasks outside standard responsibilities when needed.

Preferred Qualifications
  • BS/BA in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.

  • Experience in plastics, polymers, or broader manufacturing industries.
