Title: Customer Service Representative, Receiving
Pay: $20/hr
Location: Portland, OR – onsite
Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:30am start time

Overview:
Seeking a Receiving Representative to join a premiere analytical testing company committed to global food health and safety. This role provides sample receiving information and communication to clients effectively and accurately.
Responsibilities:
- Client Request Management: Oversee the entire client request process from initial communication through to sample login in LIMS, ensuring accurate and clarified information is obtained.
- Sample and Data Management: Generate and verify unique sample IDs in LIMS and SAP, ensuring consistency with clients' submission forms. Maintain and update client files, logs, and records of communications.
- Communication and Workflow Coordination: Facilitate communication between clients and lab staff to streamline workflows and meet customer expectations and requirements.
- Quote and Pricing Management: Prepare and confirm quotes and convey pricing information to clients, coordinating with Accounting as needed.
- Sample Shipment Coordination: Manage and coordinate shipments to external laboratories when required.
- Customer Service and Support: Provide customer service by handling inquiries, reporting issues, and supporting other roles as needed. Escalate issues to the Supervisor or Sales and Marketing Manager when necessary.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in training and propose process improvements to enhance customer service quality and efficiency.
- Issue Reporting: Report any LIMS or data tracking issues to the Supervisor or relevant manager.
- Highschool diploma and 6 months to 1 year of office or lab related experinece OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Client communication and customer service experinece.
- Administrative work experinece.
- Experienced using MS Office and Adobe Acrobat.
