Data Analyst
Teaneck, NJ (Hybrid Potential)
1st Shift, Full-Time
Direct Hire
Compensation: $80k-$125k/yr base

SUMMARY
The Data Analyst will be responsible for specialty pharmacy data operations. The role will lead logistics related to SP data RFPs, contracting, and CPC reviews and will drive the day-to-day operations and integration of specialty pharmacy data in downstream processes, including the Patient E2E ecosystem and third-party syndicated data use for field operations. S/he will collaborate with other departments to align with FMV, HCC, and CPC processes, and partner with external vendor aggregators.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage operational processes to onboard Specialty Pharmacy Data
  • Partner with data stewards, pharmacy solutions, and PECS
  • Drive requirements for vendor aggregator to ensure data completeness and readiness
  • Provide Specialty Pharmacy Data Quality Assurance
  • Understand the data aggregation and integration processes to identify and resolve data issues
  • Monitor and track weekly physician-level and patient-level data deliveries for quality and consistency
  • Develop scalable processes and tools to monitor and ensure data accuracy
  • Analyze large amounts of data/information to discover and articulate trends and patterns
  • Build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms
  • Use advanced data modeling and analysis techniques to synthesize conclusions that will guide strategic decisions
  • Conduct market research, gather, and interpret data, execute analysis to develop meaningful insights
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and projects as required by management

QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree +3 years of relevant experience in statistics,
mathematics, computer science, operations research, industrial engineering, economics, or a related field.
Experience:
  • A minimum 3 years of experience working with Specialty Pharmacy data flow and data structure
  • Strong background and experience in the healthcare/life sciences field
  • Strong analytical mindset, strong verbal, and written communication skills, and strong problem-solving experience
  • Proficient in SQL, R, Python, SAS, Dataiku or similar programming languages/analytical tools
  • Experience in data and data services contracts
  • Experience with data visualization software (Tableau, Power BI, MicroStrategy, Qlik, think-cell, etc.) and distilling data into meaningful graphics
  • Preferable experience with CRM software (Salesforce) and extracting data via API
  • Preferable knowledge of commercial Life Sciences data sets (NPP, DDD, Xponent, Plantrak, SPP)
Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Must have organizational skills with the ability to communicate across all departments
  • Ability to work independently and adjust priorities to achieve accurate and timely results
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Proficient computer skills, including Excel pivot tables and v-look-up, Word, and PowerPoint
