Now Hiring: Simple Data Entry Operator / Scanner in Kapolei 
Location: 91-238 Kauhi St Ste 100, Kapolei, HI 96707, United States
Pay Rate: $16.50/hour
Contract: 1 Year

About the Position:
Are you looking for an entry-level position to gain administrative experience? This is a great opportunity to work in an office environment. The job is straightforward and easy: pass the background and drug screen, and it's yours! Enjoy working in a comfortable, air-conditioned indoor setting.

Schedule: Monday - Saturday, mornings and afternoons. We offer flexibility with your schedule to accommodate your needs.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and index documents, ensuring they are sorted and prepped for scanning as per client specifications.
  • Use third-party software to scan hardcopy files to electronic images, ensuring quality images.
  • Follow production procedures and complete internal documentation and tracking.
  • Maintain a clean work environment.
  • Perform Quality Checks on scanned documents to ensure accuracy, documenting any errors.
  • Enter data manually using a keyboard for verification.
  • Re-assemble documents back to original condition when required.
  • Prepare products for delivery, ensuring all documentation is completed.
  • Maintain scanning hardware and software, troubleshooting as needed.
  • Assist in training new Imaging Specialists.
  • Conduct daily maintenance and safety checks of all equipment.
  • Utilize pallet jacks and carts as necessary.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Report urgent issues like employee relations or safety concerns to the manager.
  • Participate in safety drills and report any violations.
  • Understand your role in the Company Disaster Recovery Plan.
  • Report accidents and injuries immediately.
  • Travel between facilities if required.
  • Work overtime when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 year of related experience in a team-focused environment, preferably in a service industry.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Basic PC computer skills.
  • Effective communication with coworkers and management.
  • Ability to sort, file, and box records efficiently.
  • Detail-oriented with strong accuracy in work.
  • Capable of working at a sustained pace.
  • Open to change and new project assignments.
  • Independent worker with minimal supervision required.
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset.

Physical Requirements:

  • Routine lifting of 20–60 lbs, scanning materials, overhead reaching, bending and stretching.
  • Sit and stand for long durations.
  • Primary working conditions are indoors in an air-conditioned environment.
