Kelly is hiring for a Diesel Mechanic in Longview, TX!

Pay: (based on experience)
Schedule: 7:30a-4:30p

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and inspections.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems in diesel engines, vehicle systems, and equipment.
  • Utilize technical manuals, diagrams, and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot and fix issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve workflow and efficiency.
  • Ensure all safety protocols are followed during work activities.
  • Keep up-to-date with advancements in diesel technology and repair techniques.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a vocational program in diesel mechanics preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines and repair techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in varying conditions.
