Join the Kelly® Professional & Industrial team as a Disaster Recovery Coordinator with the Arizona Department of Emergency and Military Affairs (AZDEMA) – Recovery Division, helping communities prepare for, respond to, and recover from disasters.

  • Pay Rate: $27.14 per hour – OBSERVE MARGINS

  • Location: Phoenix, AZ (5636 E. McDowell Rd., Bldg. M5101 – 100% onsite)

  • Schedule: Day shift; generally 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (no set schedule; hours may vary during normal business hours)

  • Assignment Length: 3-month contract

What's a typical day as a Disaster Recovery Coordinator? You will:
  • Support coordination activities related to emergency preparedness, response, recovery, mitigation, logistics, and finance

  • Prepare and update documentation aligned with established state and federal criteria

  • Collect, compile, and review data and cost documentation

  • Coordinate assistance and recovery support programs

  • Draft, review, and update policies, procedures, and planning documentation

  • Support updates to the Arizona Recovery Framework, including long-term recovery planning

  • Participate in trainings, planning efforts, and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Assist with on-site activities and support emergency activations as needed

This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:
  • Experience working in emergency management or a closely related field

  • Background supporting disaster recovery, preparedness, or response activities

  • Experience updating or creating emergency or recovery-related plans

  • Strong documentation, coordination, and computer skills

  • Ability to work onsite in Phoenix, AZ
