Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6am-2:30pm with overtime as required.
Pay: $18.00 p/h, overtime paid at time and a half.
Temp to hire. Will receive benefits once converted to permanent employee. 401K, dental, medical, vision, PTO, paid holidays etc. This is a temp-to-hire position with an opportunity to become a permanent employee based on performance and attendance.
Job Summary:
Packs merchandise, and other material in the Training & Education and Events warehouse section. QC all kits drilling motors and other training equipment needed for training. Process and inspect all return training equipment for re-stocking and notify the workshop coordinator if any parts need to be ordered to have a complete unit before re-stocking it.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Pull equipment for smart courses and Training and Education, and Events programs.
- Equipment Inventory control
- Pull production work order materials from shelves, boxes, and bins.
- Prepare and pack all shipment orders.
- Complete paperwork and computer transactions for all movement of material
- Follow all standard operating procedures and job instructions.
- Pull orders from inventory, palletize and shrink-wrap for large trade show shipments.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as Emails, safety rules, standard operating procedures (SOPs), master procedures (MPs), maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Must be able to read and apply procedures in the materials data safety sheet.
- Perform other duties as assigned or required by the direct Manager.
Requirements:
- Possess strong attention to detail
- Have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Authorized to work in the US
- Screenings after job offer include background and drug test
- Steel toe or composite toe shoes required for safety by first day of work
- 2 years of related work experience
- Strong communication in English (Reading, writing, and verbal)
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to follow instructions and guidelines set forth by the area Lead/ supervisor.
- Ability to use a pallet jack or dolly.
- Forklift experience a plus.
