We're looking for a hands-on, proactive Plating Supervisor to lead for a 2nd-shift Finishing team. If you excel in a fast-paced, technical environment and love coaching people to deliver precise, high-quality results, this is the role for you.
This Plating Supervisor is a perm position with great benefits:
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Lead and develop Finishing Department Leads; conduct coaching sessions and performance reviews.
- Translate daily production schedules into clear priorities and staffing assignments.
- Monitor plating chemistry, equipment condition, and in-process inspections to hit quality metrics.
- Partner with Engineering on process enhancements, equipment repairs, and preventive maintenance.
- Maintain accurate electronic records (training logs, payroll, performance notes) and report key metrics.
WHO YOU ARE:
- 5+ years in plating or chemical finishing; minimum 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Technical troubleshooting expertise with plating chemistries and equipment.
- Data-driven decision-maker with lean/process-improvement experience.
- Inspiring coach and communicator—able to build and lead high-performing teams.
- Safety-focused mindset with a commitment to zero incidents.
