Environmental Technician- Mooresville NC
Position Overview
The Environmental Specialist supports customers by executing specialized waste disposal and environmental service projects. This role involves hands-on fieldwork and coordination to ensure materials are handled, transported, and disposed of safely and in full compliance with state and federal environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities

• Collect and document samples of materials for proper classification and disposal
• Prepare manifests and related regulatory documentation
• Package, label, and load materials in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Coordinate transportation and disposal logistics with internal teams and external partners
• Provide practical, compliant solutions to meet customer environmental needs
• Maintain strict adherence to environmental, health, and safety standards at all times

Work Environment
This is not a bench or laboratory chemist position. The role is field-based and project-driven, requiring work at customer sites under a variety of weather conditions and physical environments.
Qualifications

• Background in environmental science, chemistry, biology, or a related scientific discipline
• Comfortable working in the field and adapting to diverse project types and conditions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team across multiple projects
